Strathmore Gardens Childcare Facility - our extended family.
Spanish Town Covenant Community Church has a relationship with Strathmore Gardens Childcare Facility which extends over 20 years!
What we do together
We have been privileged to provide a variety of services to staff and wards over the years, including:
- Saturday Breakfast Sharing a meal and fellowship with the children.
- Sports Day Games, races and fun activities.
- Vacation Bible School Hosted by StCCC every two years.
- Christmas gift giving Making sure every child receives a gift.
...among others.
We have not done this alone!
With treasured partnerships with family, friends and corporate entities like JAMBISCO and DBJ, we have undertaken projects such as:
- Rehabilitation of the farming area
- Repairs to and stocking of the chicken coops
- Filling in ("dumping up") waterlogged areas of the Strathmore compound
Our commitment
Our plan is to strengthen this relationship more and more, and to continue to be Jesus's hands extended in love and charity to members of the Strathmore community.
